This is so interesting. I knew about the study that happened many years ago, but did not realize it was replicated recently. I have a feeling that many individuals would expect the favoritism of the White doll many years ago, but would be shocked to hear about it today. I do think, however, that this would help show individuals that racism is still prevalent. It is too common in today's society to view racism as a terrible thing of the past when, in fact, that's not what it is at all. It's an every day, every minute, every second occurrence for some individuals. I think that this video is leaning in the right direction. It's helping to prove, in a shocking and disturbing way, that racism is still here. As a society, we still have a lot of work to do.
