People do have different skin colors, and yes, there are marginalized groups but failing to acknowledge certain differences, in a way fails to acknowledge the differential treatments between a white person and a person of color. A colorblind ideology takes away from the disadvantages minorities face and the oppressive systemic system we live in.

Some people are so nervous to point out someone’s race because they’re afraid of being seen as racist. But I think we should all accept and recognize our differences, while also understanding that internally we are all the same, but also different!
